Home Moving to China
To be well-prepared for the World Championship in October 2010 and the Asian Paralympic Games in December 2010, I together with my family made a drastic decision on our life pattern – we moved our Home to Shenzhen of Mainland China on 31 July 2010.
Since then, I needed to cross border by train to Hong Kong for work at daytime and then had my table tennis training in China in the evening. It was a very good arrangement as it could maintain my continuous table tennis practice without stopping. Before that I only practiced table tennis in China in weekends and would stop such training during weekdays.
We adjusted quite well with the living in China. Except that we spent more time and money on transport, the food here was fresher and cheaper. The abode’s rental was not so expensive as in Hong Kong. The living environment was spacious and quiet. The most important was that we lived quite near with the table tennis club where I could have training conveniently.
I think we shall stay China for table tennis training till 2012 Paralympics Games in London.
