The Last Train to Beijing

All out of a sudden, on 29.8.2008, I was informed to join the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games and I needed to confirm within an hour. Beijing is all along my dream in the past 4 years, but I already dropped it  in February 2008 when the quota was confirmed and I was failed. It’s really happened like a dream when it came true. By all means, I applied leave from my supervisor and got on this last train.

After received such good news, I immediately informed my coach in Shenzhen’s table tennis club. He’s much more happy than me as he was very proud of being a coach of a paralympic player. However, he’s very puzzled because he needed to design a 4-day intensive training for me for get ready for the games when others got 4 years for preparation. The boss of the club had dinner with me and KWONG when we went there for training on 30.8.2008. He even hanged up a large bright red banner to celebrate our participation of Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games. What the club done made me felt very homelike indeed.
