What happened with Jolanda Paardekam?

Jolanda, a Netherland Class 3 female player, whom I know for over ten years. Like me she always goes to tournament alone. During the Polish Open in May 2008, Jolanda was so nice to have warm up exercise with me before the match. Finally both of us captured a silver medal in the signle event.

Jolanda was one of the enthusiastic athelte I met in these years. Despite there’s not much wheelchair player for Netherland, she continued to participate the games, always alone, for years. She did not stop playing after married, had problem with health or gave birth to a baby daughter. Last year, she participated many tournaments so as to qualify for the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. With good achievement, she got the precious quota.

Unexpectedly I got to learn from ITTF Para Table Tennis website that Jolanda withdrew from the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. I just very curious to know what happen with her.
