My First Victory in Argentina

Adopting a new playing style, I got improvement in the compeititon in Argentina. Despite I was still slow in warm up myself and so lost the first match in open event, I had better performance in the later sets. Finally I captured a silver medal in single event. It’s a pity that I lost with a Brazil girl and a USA girl who was indeed not so high in standard.

Team up with a Korean girl, we captured the gold medal in the team event. The Korean girl really played very well.

Admittedly Copa Tango was not a very competitive tournament when compared with the Asian games. So I chose it to warm up myself for further competition in mid-November in Korea and end of December 2007 in USA.

The GOLD and SILVER medals bears great meaning to me. It symbolizes all the efforts and contribution from me, my husband and my coach during training in Shenzhen from October. It also strengthened my confidence for further victory in coming events.
