2006 Hong Kong Open Table Tennis Championship

It was glad to learn that ITTC would merge with ITTF in coming days. As a matter of fact, I started to join table tennis competition in Hong Kong able-bodied since August 2005.  I usually joined the open event applied with the able-bodies ITTF rules. In last summer, I only went to semi-quarter final. In March 2006, I finally got a silver medal in the Championship. It’s a very encouraging result as it proved that I could do as good as able-bodied. On the prize presentation day, my result surprised much participants including the children and their parents. It’s a brilliant experience.
