Close Match with Chinese Girl

With the 4-day preparation for the Games by my private coach in Shenzhen, I am very satisfied with my performance in the match with the Chinese girl, GU Gai, on 7.9.2008. GU Gai has 3rd world ranking and has preparing the Games for 4 years. But I can still beat her 2 sets in the competition. My leading of 2:1 not only shocked Chinese coach much, but also made the table tennis hall’s atmosphere very hot. Everyone was yelling with “China, adding oil”. It’s a very challenging match. Despite I lost with her 2:3 at last because the Chinse coach changed the strategy in the 4th set and I failed to tune with it, I still received lot of praise from coaches and players of China and other countries for my brilliant performance. I also had an interview with the Hong Kong’s TV station.

For me, the most important was that I learnt how to handle when I led the Chinese player next time.
